Studio Praxis, established in April 2012, is a Design Practice. We are concerned with developing architecture, interior, landscape, furniture, and product design solutions of consequence through the mediums of design, advocacy, research and documentation. Every project with Studio Praxis is delivered with complete dedication and effort by the entire team. While designing, our efforts are always to fulfill the functional, technical, and economic expectations of our clients, without compromising on the innovative and aesthetic qualities of our design solution.

 

Translating Idea into Action

Praxis, from ancient Greek is the process by which a theory, lesson, or skill is enacted, embodied, or realized. It is the ‘DOING’. The Doing of any activity with complete dedication and focus is what we call YOG, and by this means we strive to achieve perfection in all aspects of our work.

 

We learn through experimentation, building a fundamental knowledge of materials and methods. This is a crucial aspect of every process. We maintain the same focus, not only in architecture and interior but as well as in products and furniture.

 

Simplicity of thought and action guides our response to all our design solutions. Using natural and appropriate materials and methods of construction we create climate responsive designs that are sustainable and comfortable to live in and use.
